Thank you for…

The author of this blog is suffering from a bout of flu, thus she will keep this light and await for another day when she has enough mental power to jot down her reflection for this year. For now, she wishes to:

  1. Lie down on the grass, soak up the warm sunlight and watch the clouds.
  2. Walk through a meadow filled with tulips or lilies and breath in the fresh scent of the flowers.
  3. Visit the Myanmar refugee children whom she help packed the bags for.
  4. Get away from the hustle bustle of the city life and be up in the mountains, enjoying the cooling breeze while wrapped up in a warm jacket.
  5. Hold hands with the person I love and walk down the beach.
  6. Have conversation with the person I love about everything under the sun.
  7. Quietly allow the stillness to creep into the heart, silencing all other voices and hear the One Voice that makes all the difference.
  8. Write the silliest thoughts and musings on her new journal.
  9. Thank everyone for loving her and accepting her.

She doesn’t know how much of that she can do but what she can do is this:

Dear all who reads this blog (I’m not too sure how many of you do), many I believe are people whom I know, I just want to say:

THANK YOU

Thank you for being a friend… for putting up with my silly behaviour at times, for laughing along, for the hugs given when I tear, for the encouragement, for forgiveness when I am wrong.

Thank you also to the many bloggers alike who share their stories and heart. I am always awed by the kindred spirits I find.

And last but not least, to my Father in Heaven: It’s been a rough year and I think there were many moments when my faith wavered but You stuck with me throughout those challenging moments. Thank you for breaking through my stubborn heart and allowing me to see just how much You love me. As always, you never fail to make me tear, either in joy or in conviction. I love You, Father.

p/s: Hey guys and gals, if you are reading this blog, do drop a comment. Would like to thank all of you individually too! :)
